Ingleside, TX

I am originally from the Corpus Christi area in south Texas. I received my Bachelors of Natural Science and Mathematics from IUP University in PA and was fortunate to study abroad at the University of Nancy 2 in France. I am a mother of 3 amazing children. My oldest son, Dakota, is currently serving in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, CA. My son Dustin, is headed to Texas State University this fall to pursue a degree in physical therapy. My daughter Paityn will be in 6th grade this school year and is a very active athlete. I myself, am a veteran of the U.S. Navy, teach math at the 6th grade level in my hometown of Ingleside, TX, and I am an avid angler along the coast of Texas. I have been fortunate the past 3 years to be a part of an amazing team of lady anglers who have teamed up to compete in local tournaments to help raise money for various causes. Most of our tournaments consist of stringers including flounder, redfish, trout, & drum. I am an active member of our community and love being involve in programs that support our youth. I am a firm believer that every child, if they choose, should have the opportunity to attend college, therefore, I focus on educating them with the soft skills needed to be successful. I am a very competitive individual who spends as much time as possible on the water in search of beating my personal best!
Curtis Lindsey
Victoria, Tx.

Curtis growing up close to the Gulf coast and Guadalupe river he has fished both salt and fresh water for over 30+ years. From jug lines, trout lines, beetle grub spinners to whole fish as bait. He has probably had it in his hands or on a hook. He enjoys the quiet creek and the back roads lake for pan fish to monster cats. His love is for the salt water and what swims in it. Monster fish with sharp teeth and a fight to win he runs around the waters of Matagorada Bay to Port O'Conner in and out of the rivers that pour into them. What he likes about fishing is the calmness of the water and underneath is a lunker waiting to snatch your line. The biggest tug of war contest you've ever been in to say you've caught the biggest. To date his biggest catches include:
52" Bull Red out of Port O'Conner
6' Bull Shark out of Port O'Conner

Just a small town boy, grew up as a river rat chasin monsters every summer day, anything from bass, to the baddest of the freshwater species the flathead catfish, I generally fish the river here in my home town but lately I’ve done more saltwater fishing than anything, I enjoy fishing period, it doesn’t really matter what I’m fishing for as long as I can figure out a bite pattern I’ll fish myself to death. However, land based shark fishing is my favorite. What I like most about fishing is experiencing the fight in each species of fish I catch and enjoying being close or in the water! The biggest fish I’ve ever caught in freshwater on rod and reel is a 56 lb flathead on 14 lb test. Roughly 4’8” long.
